Sportster Cafe Build - Detail work

Fell in love with DP Customs Box Pipe and begged them to make me one. Pipe is insanely cool. Can not wait to hear it!

Parts starting to come back from Powder.

Internal wiring on the new Burly Cafe Clubman bars is super simple. Plugs at the ends of bars make all the difference when it comes to getting around the tight bend with a fat harness.

Scored a set of RSD Morris wheels and fresh Metzeler rubber. 19" front and 18" rear. Black ano and satin powder combo makes for a subtle but detailed wheel. Love the spoke shape, too. Thanks Roland!

Mounted the wheels up (just couldn't wait!) and ran into this challenge. 4.25" rim and 150 tire is all good on an 04 and newer chassis, but not great on the early models. Love the fat rubber, so I'm thinking chain conversion on this one.

Friends at Lowbrow Cycle in Ohio have a kit for just such a challenge and got one to my garage within a few days. Sprocket will need to go to the satin black before it gets mounted. Another trip to the powdercoater.... Sigh...
