Well, here goes. Picked up two cans of Harley's motor paint and ready to mask things off. Yeh, I know, this is cheating, but I'm out of time and hear nothing but good things about this stuff. Hipster beverage to set the mood.
Solid evening of masking the motor off and first coat applied. Texture looks identical to side covers that have already been powdercoated.
Blacked out fork is the shit. I love this look.
Wont bore you with the trivial assembly pics, but here's the nearly wrapped up motor. Cam cover, rocker box covers and primary are legit powdercoat and motor is HD heat paint from a can. BCM air filter and breather bolts are perfect on this thing. DP Customs exhaust slipped right on and mounts to the inside of the stock rear pipe mount. Sprocket came back from powder, so rear wheel is buttoned up as well. Shocks are new Burly Stiletto units and stand 15" tall!
Side view. Love the stance. Will need some sort of chain tensioner or at least guide.
