More blog catching up....
Just about everything is sorted out. Jetting seems happy and the pipe sounds wicked. It's a Scrambler, so made sense to head for the local forestry road. Yeh, maybe it has 10 minutes on a fresh build and largely abandoned forestry roads are probably not the best place to be an an unproven machine, but it asked nicely.
Continentals work so nicely in the dirt. Torquey motor is happy to dig holes in spite of the big knobs.
RSD pipe is easily the best I've ever used on a Sporty. Sound is rich without being obnoxious. Would be super bad if I lay it down on this side, though.
Burly Moto Pegs are sooo right on this bike.
Quite the stance. Loving how this thing came out. 15" tall shocks, 1" drop in the front to level the chassis. Rear hoop to finish up the rear end and a flat seat. Hello Scrambler! Time to rip up some dirt!
