Sportster Scrambler Build

Tall shocks create a unique challenge on the late model Sportster. HD created a clever solution to hide the rear master, but the end result limits belt clearance on a tall bike. I'm thinking chain guide may be a good solution.

Didn't get any pics of the build, but the end result looks the part. Visited the local skate shop and grabbed a used wheel, but will need better bearings before it'll be rideable.

Ebay find ATC six pack rack! Love this thing, not sure how to integrate it in the build, but it wants to be there.

Mocked up fork sleeve and another Ebay find headlight grille. Originally intended for a moped, some bending and a welded right to stock headlight ring.

Final mock before it comes apart for paint. Love the stance. Struggling with a pipe.

Metal is wrapped up and ready for powder. Fork sleeves, extended kickstand, seat pan etc.

Some day I need to build a raw metal bike. Until then off to visit my friend the powder coater.
