1974 Yamaha TY250

 The TY line represented a new generation in trails machines. Units that were both functional and reliable. Unlike their Euro built counterparts. Oddly they never saw decent sales and were discontinued within a handful of years.

I picked this one up for $500 and spent a weekend cleaning it up. Hooked up a with a vintage trials group and scored all the missing parts within a few weeks. It was stone reliable and would go anywhere. Ended up doing a mild resto on it and played with it for a season or two before sending it on to the next guy.
