Built this after the 1984 Olympics came to LA. Sort of a functional funny bike. Moon even spun the discs for me! Bike hauled ass, but was a handful in any sort of cross breeze.
Foes Fab. Built this one for my wife. Painted to match her Saturn of the same era. Turns out wives don't really need a high zoot downhill machine.
My FMF race machine circa 1980. Z-Rims, Zeronine plate and obligatory MXA sticker. I lived on this thing.
Sometime in the late 70's. Two brothers and I in our backyard practice track. Dad had even built a gate so we could work on our starts. Looks like I'm on an R&R. So many kids got hurt on that track that half the neighborhood was banned from the yard.
Probably sometime in the late 90's. I was racing a bit and trained by towing my son around. Lovely wife in foreground. Bike was an early Cannondale that I had painted with a zebra motif. A common thread in my life. Eventually crashedthe trailer rig in a steep climb and kid decided he needed to ride his own bike. We've been on two wheels together ever since.
