1973 VW Bus project

There's just nothing cooler than a VW bus. I could only resist the temptation to own one for so long. Scored this little cherry for under a K out in the 909. No interior, no motor, no trans and virtually no rust. The later of the no's being the decision maker in the purchase. Body is damn straight, too. Gave the guy some cash and called a flatbed. 

My youngest dreamt this one up, I had another project in mind and his barrage of CL ads pushed em over the edge. 

 Neighbors probably not super excited, but it'll end up hidden on the side yard for a few months while I sort the details of the build.

He looks good there. 

Headliner is nearly spotless and interior steel has only minor surface rust. Great start to a fun project.
